Winterthur offers unique and beautiful facilities for your wedding. We have 4 locations to fit your various needs.

The Visitor Center Pavilion

Uses: Ceremony Space – accommodates up to 300 people
Cocktail Hour – accommodates up to 400 people
Dinner and Dancing – accommodates up to 300 people seated
Daytime Weddings – accommodates up to 80 people
Bridal Shower – accommodates up to 80 people
Post Wedding Brunch – accommodates up to 80 people
Rental: Saturday Evenings - $2000
Friday and Sunday Evenings - $1250
Notes: There is no room rental during daytime operating hours. Please ask your catering representative about restrictions. During the colder months the Patio at the Visitor Center may be tented for ceremonies and/or cocktail hour for up to 300 people. The average price is $3000.

The Galleries Reception Area

Uses: Ceremony Space – accommodates up to 150 people
Cocktail Hour – accommodates up to 250 people
Dinner and Dancing – accommodates up to 80 people
Rental: Saturday Evenings – $2000 plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level
Friday and Sunday Evenings – $1500 plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level

The Reflecting Pool

Uses: Ceremony Space – accommodates up to 200 people
Cocktail Hour – accommodates up to 300 people
Rental:Saturday Evenings – $3000 plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level
Friday and Sunday Evenings – $2000 plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level
Notes: Reflecting Pool use is seasonal based on sun set times and weather conditions

The Period Rooms Suite

Uses: Daytime Weddings – accommodates up to 40 people
Evening Weddings – accommodates up to 40 people
Bridal Shower – accommodates up to 50 people
Bridal Brunch – accommodates up to 50 people
Rental:Daytime Rental – $600 for 3 hours. $125 for every additional hour.
Evening Rental – $800 for 4 hours. $125 each additional hour. Plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level

Brown’s Woods Meadow

Uses: Cocktail Reception – accommodates up to 1000 people
Dinner and Dancing – accommodates up to 350 people seated
Rental: Saturday Afternoons or Evenings – $2000 plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level
Non-Saturday Afternoon or Evenings – $1500 plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level

Rental of a kitchen tent is required at approximately $800. Event tent and Executive restroom facilities are recommended. Please consult your catering manager for tent needs based upon your particular event.

The Meadow Lot

Uses: Cocktail Reception – accommodates up to 1000 people
Dinner and Dancing – accommodates up to 400 people seated
Rental: Saturday Evenings – $2000 plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level
Non-Saturday Evenings – $1500 plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level

Sundial Garden

Uses: Cocktail Reception – accommodates up to 300 people

Cottage Terrace Lawn & Clenny Run

Uses: Cocktail Reception – accommodates up to 450 people
Dinner and Dancing – accommodates up to 300 people seated
Rental: Saturday Evenings – $2000 plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level
Non-Saturday Evenings – $1500 plus an Associate Level Membership at the $1000 level

Cottage Terrace

Uses: Shower or Engagement Party – accommodates up to 30 people
Dinner and Dancing – accommodates up to 300 people seated
Rental: Saturday Afternoons – $500
Non-Saturday Afternoons – $250

 

Rental is paid for each location used (for example, if you hold your ceremony at the Reflecting Pool and have Dinner and Dancing in the Visitor Center for 150 guests you would pay a total of $6000.) Evening events may commence at 6:30pm or later. Winterthur’s in-house caterer, Restaurant Associates, will be glad to work with you to accommodate all of your catering needs.
